Hello everyone. I am sorry I have been away for so long. I have been under the weather and just sleepy all the time. But I have also been divinely happy, and here's why:

I am engaged.

Holy crap, right? I keep thrusting my hand in people's faces and screaming. That, or crying for joy at anything even remotely wedding-related. I about lost it with this one Martha Stewart Weddings article. I promise to get my act together and stop bringing every conversation back to me and our engagement.

We're planning on a May 2008 time line. And I want to do a lot of the work on my own and on the cheap, so we're going to get cracking now. That is, after my homework.

Hello everybody. I am up to my eyeballs in massive homework, and so this will be a very short post. I have good news! I have made my first etsy purchase and it should be here any day now! Well, I am off to work on a American Studies paper in front of the roaring fire built for me by Boyfriend, who also brought pie home and is therefore what is known as a "keeper".

snow day.

Today I woke up to a soft snowfall. The trees are highlighted in crisp white. The view from my window is amazing.

I was trying to get though this very dense audiology reading when the email came in: no class today. Huzzah!

Ultimately, this only means I need to finish the Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass, for tomorrow's class. But I still feel free.
